March Madness has made some amazing couples among players. These are couples who add magic to the game and take the match to a new level altogether by being the perfect team. These players hold a right of their own on the court and yet, when they play in coordination, the game becomes an art form. They work in coordination with each other like clockwork precision and are responsible for taking their teams to victory. Here are some such couples you should look out for in March Madness 2012.
The pair from Kentucky – Doron Lamb and Anthony Davis
Anthony Davis is no pushover on the court. He is towering tall and excellently talented on the court. With an average of 15.5 points, he is touted as one of the best players in the tournament and is a powerhouse of basketball skills. However, when he plays in tandem with Doron Lamb, the couple creates real magic on the court. Lamb is a good player and adds a lot of value to the team. He shoots perfectly and has a three point aim that can devastate the opponent. This pair is something out of the basketball fairy tales. If you happen to watch a match of Kentucky, keep your eyes trained on this couple. They are fantastic.
From Kansas – Jiff Whitney and Thomas Robinson
Thomas Robinson is another player who is touted to be the best in the game. This Kansas player is tough, real tough. When he joins hands with Whitney, the pair is almost unbeatable. With Robinson’s tough aggression and Whitney’s towering center court presence, this team from Kansas can push the University to victory. If these two players perform, the team can get ahead of the other top seeded biggies this season. So, watch out for them.
From University of North Carolina – John Henson and Tyler Zeller
John Henson and Tyler Zeller are two big men who are tough to handle. Towering at nearly seven feet, these players play with an easy grace with each other. Now that the importance of these two players has skyrocketed in the team, what with Kendall Marshall sitting out with a broken wrist, you only have to wait and watch for the game that this couple comes up with. The Tar Heels are dependent on these two in a big way. If these two players make up their minds, they can still have the ball in their court and score the winning dunks. What is important here is not their individual expertise. What we need here is team work and these men seem to know it better than anyone else.
From Syracuse – James Southerland and Dion Waiters
James Southerland has a 6.6 average and Dion Waiters has a game that gets them wins. When these players get together, they make a new ball game altogether. Both of these players are not among the best players of the tournament. However, these guys know their game. They are the strength behind Syracuse and if they do well with each other, Syracuse can have a place reserved in the Final Four – at least.
