Most Exiting NCAA Teams in 2012
Cincinnati
Most people have probably already discounted Cincinnati from the NCAA basketball 2012. However, it is without doubt, a team capable of causing upsets and therein lays your potential to make money this March Madness.
Agreed, that Cincinnati have not done too well in the tournaments but a 6th position in the Big East is nothing to be scoffed at and they could easily be placed 10 to 12th seed for the Dance.
As was proved by their wins over UConn, Notre Dame and Georgetown, Cincinnati have the talent and the skills to cause major upsets this March Madness so don’t remove them from NCAA basketball 2012 or from your betting radar yet.
North Carolina State
North Carolina State has performed superbly in the top-heavy ACC teams. They have held their ground and secured the fifth place in the conference which is not something that most expected of them.
With a few wins and a good conference run, we might probably see North Carolina State secure a 11-13 seed.
If these Wolfpack get going in the Dance, they certainly have the potential to cause some major upsets this NCAA basketball and make some major money for you in the bargain.
Vanderbilt
The Commodores have done well. They had huge and convincing wins over Marquette, LSU and Alabama and have secured the third spot directly behind the Florida squad. Don’t be surprised if Venderbilt secure a 6-8 seed.
With senior forward Jeffery Taylor and junior guard John Jenkins, Vanderbilt can hold out against most of the top rated squads in the nation. They have the potential to go deep in the SEC tournament and use it as a springboard for the NCAA Tournament.
Keep an eye on this talented group of young men – they hold great potential for the bettors.
Seton Hall
The Pirates entered, played and won 15 games straight off. True, they faltered thereafter but something tells us, it has nothing to do with talent and if their four recent wins including that giant win over Georgetown is any indication, The Pirates are definitely a force to reckon with this NCAA basketball.
There unpredictability is what makes them the darling of bettors. Place your bets on Seton Hall. When the going is good, these guys have the talent and the skill to cause major upsets in the conference tourney as well as the Dance and in the process, earn you some good money for you.
New Mexico
If there was one player to watch out for in MWC, it would be Drew Gordon in New Mexico. This senior forward has played very well and can be counted on as being amongst the best players in the game. March Madness and NCAA basketball just got more interesting.
The Lobos themselves have not fared too badly either. Seemingly unnoticed, they have won match after match and have crept quietly into first place of the MWC without much fanfare. Getting past UNLV and SDSU is a feat in itself. New Mexico record of 22-5 better than most records out there and their recent convincing wins over the Aztecs and the Rebels by 20 points is certainly an eye-opener for those who might not have noticed them.
With Drew Gordon and other talented players in their side, New Mexico has the potential to cause major upheavals on their way to the Big Dance. Place your bets.
Alabama
With Major game wins over Wichita State, LSU and Arkansas, the Tide have proved themselves to be a force that is not to be taken lightly. Frankly, no one expected Alabama to do so well especially since they are deemed proficient only on the gridiron and not on hardwood. Seems the Tide is out to prove us wrong.
JaMychal Green, the senior forward for Alabama is proving to be a major challenge for the big teams out there. A little bird tells us that the conference tournament will be used as a stepping stone to success by the Tides. Watch out everyone, NCAA basketball and March Madness is fun times for the basketball bettors.
