Although the regular conference season is still underway, we are beginning to get a clearer picture of who the top teams may be on Selection Sunday. The Southwest Region games will be played in the deserts of Phoenix, AZ also on March 22 and 24. The venue of choice is the US Airway Center, home of the Phoenix Suns. The Midwest Region games will be played in Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, MO. This is the home of the St. Louis Rams of the NFL. It was also the hosting spot of the 2005 NCAA Final Four. These games will be held March 23 and 25. Finishing out the Elite Eight matches, we have the Southeast Region games being played in the notorious Georgia Dome, in Atlanta, GA. The Georgia Dome is home to some of the biggest sporting events in the past decade. These games will be played March 23 and 25. Moving on to this year’s “Final Four”, all of the games will be played at the great Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, LA. These two games will be played March 31. The 2012 NCAA Basketball Tournament National Championship will be held in the great city of New Orleans on April 2, also in the historic Louisiana Superdome.
Who will come out victorious on this year’s biggest college basketball betting event? Will we see all four number one seeds make it to the Final Four as we did in the 2008 March Madness or will we see another Cinderella team similar to Butler, George Mason, and Virginia Commonwealth University? That’s what makes March Madness so great; You never know what’s going to happen.
