Lin sets a new carer high as Knicks win 7th in a row

Jeremy Lin displayed one more exciting and commendable victory with 13 assists in Knicks’ rout of Kings.

It is believed that Lin saved his energy rather than saving his Knicks at the game. It is said that he played 10 minutes less than what he played in all his previous games. With all the played Knicks blowing out the Sacramento Kings, he recorded the 7th straight victory grabbing audience’s attention.

Lin was then found next to Carmelo Anthony in the third quarter sharing a laugh with the injured All-Star. Commenting on the special moments of joy and victory, Lin said, “We were just having fun and kind of talking about how we’re both excited for when he comes back”. He also added, “As a point guard, my field goal attempts have been really high and I don’t think that’s necessarily good. I think it’s more of my job to distribute and get people in rhythm.”

Lin had a record-setting score of 136 points in his first five starts, allowing the Knicks to pull out a 90-87 victory in a game they trailed nearly the whole way. Unfortunately they were 6-6 after a loss to Oklahoma City on Jan. 14 hoping that Anthony will return from a strained right groin.

Commenting on the same, Sacramento’s Tyreke Evans said “We wanted to be aggressive, make it hard for (Lin), but he still ran the team and got assists.” He also added, “They made shots. It seemed like they were making everything tonight.”

The pointspread between Lin and Evans was displayed with the NBA’s biggest story. Evans scored 19 points for the Sacramento Kings and DeMarcus Cousins made 7 shots. Lin with all his victory and commendable shots has a fan following wearing Lin’s jerseys or masks of his face. Fans over brimmed with excitement chanted praises that echoes the love all have for Lin. As he was interviewed on the court after the game, some even held up signs such as “Lin Your Face,” “Linderella,” and — of course — “Marry Me Jeremy.”

As Lin was feeling more energetic with his fan following, he said to the fan crowd, “It’s crazy. Thank you for the energy as always”.

Adding to Lin’s comment, his coach Keith Smart said “I knew him before he was Linmania.” He also added, “The guy has not changed a bit, which is real special for a young man.”

Before the game, the coach said, “It’s good Monday morning quarterbacks are here now, but no one could have predicted this guy being this big in this place here”

Following the words of the coach, Lin opened the game with a 3-point play but passed more than shot as the Knicks scored in the first half. Lin beat the defense with penetration and dishes to shooters, or by throwing lob passes over the top.

On the other hand, The Knicks led 25-17 after one quarter that Novak converted to a 4-point play. Further to that, Lin with all excitement and energy made a free throw to cap a run of seven straight points and make it an 18-point game. The Knicks closed the scoring when Lin drove and threw a wraparound pass to Tyson Chandler for a dunk with 1.7 seconds left, extending it to 54-36.

Commenting on the points, Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni said “I just thought we played really exceptionally well the first quarter.” He also added, “Just the ball was moving, every time we drew up a play they ran it perfectly. Every time I think there was an opportunity to make a great pass, they did it.”
